The research revealed that pizza lovers are keen to get a taste of fresh fruit flavours on pizza. Blueberries and figs now sit alongside pineapple as a trending topping. Intrigued? we are!
Other trends to watch out for in 2022 also include spice, like hot honey and slow cooked meats. Customers are looking to jazz up their pizza eating experience in 2022.
In response to the increasing popularity of more left-field toppings, Chicago Town is sampling a new festival exclusive. The new Sausage and Blueberry Deep Dish flavour will be exclusive at four major UK festivals this summer. There is still time to try it for yourself at Boardmasters (Cornwall) and Victorious (Portsmouth) this month. It was also at Tramlines and Kendal Calling.
