Head to Calke Abbey in Derbyshire during December to experience the venue’s ‘Christmas at Calke’ offer with festive lights. Festive lights and the illuminated trail have been produced by QUAD’s TECHSQUAD.
Spectacular festive lights and illuminated installations will celebrate the uniqueness of Calke, with a giant lamp, 360-star projections, interactive shadow puppets and a willow light tunnel.
The event will be included as part of standard tickets.
There will also be a chance to discover Christmases of the past as visitors explore the historic house, tunnels and stableyards, as well as through a downloadable family trail. Christmas at Calke also includes festive fairs in the Riding School and opportunities to meet Father Christmas and Mrs Claus.
The illuminated trail will be open every weekend in December. You can also visit daily during the week Monday 19th to Friday 23rd December, from 3:30pm to 6pm. Booking is not needed, and normal admission prices apply, please check the website for full details including last entry times. Visitors can share their magical moments by tagging #YourCalke.
