Harvey Nichols Birmingham has unveiled its exciting Summer Menu, filled with a host of mouth-watering dishes perfect for the new season. Created by Head Chef Mark Walsh, the range of tempting starters, mains and desserts boasts the best seasonal ingredients.
With quality and freshness at its heart, the menu draws on classic flavours which are brought bang up to date with modern ingredients. For starters, enjoy ginger and garlic-marinated paneer with summer vegetables; scallops, pea popcorn and pea purée; steamed mussels, shallots and garlic in a white wine cream; and haddock croquette, caper berries, quail’s egg and pickled shallots.
Mains include lamb loin with courgette, peppers, anchovies, tomato jelly and black olive purée; duck breast, mango, carrot purée and coriander; halibut, shellfish mousse and herb orzo; and sweet potato and chickpea tagine with grilled aubergine and feta.
Desserts guaranteed to tempt the taste buds include passion fruit cheesecake; strawberry parfait; chocolate crémeux with smoked caramel; and rum-roasted pineapple.
Alongside the new dishes, diners can also opt for a handful of much-loved classics like burgers and steaks, as well as Champagne Afternoon Tea for those special celebrations.
