LOUGHBOROUGH TOWN HALL ANNOUNCES 2024 SIZZLING SUMMER LINE-UP OF TV STARS

Loughborough Town Hall is thrilled to announce its summer season packed to the rafters all the way through to September with TV stars a-plenty coming to the town’s best-loved venue. Iconic live music, magical musicals, outrageous comedy, drama, educational events and enthralling live guests will thrill audiences all summer long.

Headlining this season is Milton Jones with his national tour HA!MILTON (not a stage musical!) bringing his signature side-splitting one-liners to audiences in Loughborough. Meanwhile, musical lovers can look forward to what critics are calling “the most exciting production of the year” in Come What May starring AJ and Curtis Pritchard – the ultimate tribute to Moulin Rouge.

TV favourites will be descending on Loughborough this summer, led by Mock the Week and panel show regular Milton Jones with his tour HA!MILTON arriving on 8 September. The irreverent comic is keen to remind audiences he is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm – but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it. He has more important things to discuss. Like giraffes…and there’s a bit about tomatoes. Nothing can reach the heights of hilarity (and daftness) that Milton can achieve!

Su PollardStill Fully Charged follows Milton on 27 September to celebrate her 50 years in show business with a night of hilarious laughter, fabulous songs and wonderful stories! The Hi-De-Hi star has for 50 years delighted audiences, starring in the nation’s best-known TV shows and on stages around the globe in some of the world’s most-loved musicals – not one to miss!

The kings of reality TV AJ and Curtis Pritchard will be in town on 20 September as they star in  the sexy, slick and sequined Come What May. The Strictly Come Dancing and Love Island legends will bebringing the best of the Moulin Rouge to Loughborough.

Paranormal afficionados will not want to miss Most Haunted Live as it summons spooky tales from the number 1 worldwide smash hit TV show to the stage. Certain to send a tingle down your spine on 15 September.

Live music fans will have a sizzling summer set list to select from, with something for every taste. Aled Jones brings his fantastic show to Loughborough audiences on 25 September, delighting fans with a trip through 40 years of music and never-before-heard tracks. That’ll Be The Day’s Trevor Payne and Gary Anderson will be bringing music, stories and laughter on their first ever solo UK tour on 11 June.

Tribute acts as good as the real thing are no surprise to Loughborough audiences, and this summer Magic Queen (10 August) and Some Guys Like Have All the Luck – The Rod Stewart Story (26 September) will once more be bringing electric hits to create sensational summer nights to remember. And of course, the unstoppable force that is local legends Showaddywaddy will be back on 13 September for yet another unforgettable performance.

Musical lovers are in for a treat as Brightlights are once again sharing their impressive talents with their production of Guys and Dolls (8 June) and High School Musical (27-30 June). Then it’s over to LAOS who are set to show the delightful Made in Dagenham 3-7 September.

Parents of little ones will want to get in quick to book Milkshake! Live on Holiday all afternoon on 2 June. Meanwhile, those looking for something truly fascinating to enjoy this summer need look no further than Allie Bailey’s incredible stories of ultra marathons and battling alcoholism in Running Won’t Save You on 11 June.
