The fan run festival of all things sinister and spooky has come back from the dead with Leicester’s haunted Guildhall serving as the main venue on Saturday 24th June between 11am to 4pm. The Guildhall, a Grade I listed building in the city centre, which dates from the 15th century, has served many roles, including a police station and court house, Shakespeare is thought to have performed on the stage here and its history of eerie happenings led to an episode of TV’s ‘Most Haunted’ dedicated to it.
The Guildhall will host the highlight of his year’s convention, the “Dark Market”. The UKs top horror traders will be in attendance selling artwork, posters, toys, clothing, comics, books, DVDs/Blu-Rays and more. Also in attendance will be guests from film and tv signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.
A short walk over to The Firebug will find talks and screenings room featuring a programme of panels, interviews and films throughout the day.
