Hambleton Bakery, the multiple-award-winning regional bakery specialising in traditional handmade artisan bread, has launched a new ”Plum Shuttle”. A traditional Rutland product, this is the first commercial production of the Plum Shuttle since 1890. Hambleton Bakery owners Julian Carter and Tim Hart dreamt up the idea as way to contribute to the county’s 20thanniversary of Rutland’s independence celebrations.
The limited-edition Plum Shuttle is available until 30th April 2017 in any Hambleton Bakery store for £1.50. Hambleton Bakery first launched in 2008 by Julian Carter and Tim Hart to produce top quality traditionally made bread for Hambleton Hall and Hart’s Nottingham. Today it has grown to supply six Hambleton Bakery shops, Hambleton Hall, The George at Stamford, many farm shops, delis and cafes across the surrounding counties as well as high end restaurants and gastro pubs.
