Sip, Snack, and Give Back: Western Park Beer Festival Returns to Leicester

Beer, Pizza, Gin, Curry and raining money for charity: what’s not to love? If you like the idea of drinking great beer and eating amazing food while raising money for local charities then get these dates in your diaries – the Western Park Beer Festival will be back on the 1st and 2nd of September.

The popular two-day charity event will return to St Anne’s Hall in Western Park, Leicester (LE3 6FN) with the usual wide range of cask and keg beers, as well as ciders, wines, prosecco, G&T – and not forgetting a range of tasty snacks, including the return of Pizza Pod and this year, curry Friday.

The festival is split over two days. Friday’s event will run from 5-12pm (adults only) and there will be a family fun afternoon between 12-5pm on Saturday, before another adults only evening session between 6-12pm.

As always, money raised will go towards local charities – and this year, the chosen charities are Leicester Musical Memory Box and Hope Against Cancer.

The Western Park Beer Festival is run by a group of volunteers for the benefit of the local community. Since the first festival in 2015, they have raised over £50,000 for good causes in the local area.
