Korean Restaurant Grounded Kitchen Comes to Northwood London

Korean-inspired eatery, Grounded Kitchen, has opened its brand-new restaurant in Northwood, the first in London, and diners are in for a treat from the East.

Open today for the first time (8 December), Northwood diners are invited to experience a culinary delight with the arrival of Grounded Kitchen, the new casual dining restaurant on Eastbury Road, Northwood.

Ideally positioned on the corner of Green Lane opposite Northwood Station, Grounded Kitchen offers Korean and Asian-inspired cuisine, combining fresh, balanced ingredients with bold and tantalising flavours – unlike any other on the High Street.

Grounded Kitchen goes beyond just serving punchy flavours; it aims to support a healthier and happier lifestyle by using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Their mantra, “Delicious. Nutritious. Korean+”, truly reflects their dedication to providing a satisfying dining experience, with all food prepared fresh on-site, to order.

Situated on the corner of Eastbury Road and Green Lane, this 60-seat restaurant is the perfect spot for guests to unwind and indulge in a delectable and nourishing lunch or dinner during the festive season and beyond.

The ambiance at Grounded Kitchen is relaxed and casual, catering to a variety of occasions, whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, a gathering with friends, or a laid-back date night. Their menu offers a wide range of flavours to suit every palate, from their signature Bibimbap to comforting bowls of Udon.  Unusually for the brand, alcohol is also served, so why not grab a bottle of Soju, some shot glasses and toast your new favourite restaurant with your nearest and dearest.

If that’s not enough, why not explore their famous Grounded Kitchen Flavour Tree, with options ranging from the smoky and mild Bulgogi to the nutty and hot Fire. The bold variety of spice and flavours will ignite your tastebuds and keep you coming back; just one question: can you handle the heat?

In addition to their current fresh and bold dishes, Grounded Kitchen Northwood is preparing to tantalise your tastebuds further with new sides and mains crafted specifically for the dine-in menu. Indulge in tempting Togarashi Prawns, delightful Gyozas, and don’t miss out on the exciting Chuncheon Laksa, a deep, umami, and spicy experience that will leave you wanting more.

Grounded Kitchen offers other popular dishes such as filling Ssambaps (wraps) and the ever-popular Korean Baos, along with a refreshing range of Quencher drinks (smoothies reinvented), perfect for rejuvenating yourself on your commute, at lunchtime, or after work.  If you’re more sweet than savoury, their waffles are an absolute must – crunchy waffle smothered in fresh fruit and drizzled with chocolate sauce, and best served with Movenpick ice cream.  Delicious, and ideal for sharing.

While this will be the fifteenth store opening for Grounded Kitchen, it is only the third location to offer an exclusive dine-in menu, to complement the takeaway and deliver-to-home options.

A spokesperson for Grounded Kitchen expressed their excitement, saying: “We’re excited to have opened our new casual dining restaurant on Eastbury Road and to share the incredible flavours inspired by Korea and beyond with the cosmopolitan people of Northwood. They are in for the tastiest December, ever!”
