Leading conservation charity Twycross Zoo is inviting teachers, lecturers and education workers to enjoy a free visit to the Zoo this summer.
Between Monday 27 August – Sunday 4th September, education workers can enjoy a free day at the Zoo* ahead of the new school term. They will have the chance to discover more than 400 animals from over 80 different species across the 100-acre site.
Throughout August, Twycross Zoo is hosting brand-new entertainment and activities for the school holidays. Festival of Animals includes a Creatures of the World parade, Steel Drum band, animal yoga and summer story-time sessions. Of course, there is always plenty to do at the Zoo! You can enjoy strolling alongside the ring-tailed lemurs in their walk-through enclosure; watch the troupe of emperor tamarins leap above your head in their treetop exhibit and hand-feed rainbow lorikeets.
Visit Twycross Zoo and you’ll be able to see one of their latest arrivals! They named an animal to celebrate the lionesses’ success earlier this summer! Read all about that here.
